The Highland Cultural Arts Studio, 437 New Paltz Road, will present a Handmade Holiday Workshop on December 14, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
The best gifts are from the heart, and these will be beautifully handmade by each student and ready for gifting! Join Marlea from The Artists Corner as she guides students through this activity.
This workshop, for ages 7-12, will provide the materials and instruction for students to create and wrap two gifts/projects from assorted art supplies. All projects are non-denominational and will go home holiday-ready. Students will also decorate their own wrapping paper and will be encouraged to share their favorite holiday stories.

The Town of Lloyd Police will be celebrating the holiday season early this year. Members of the police department and their families have filled shoe boxes full of gifts and toys to be sent to children ages 2 thru 14 who are in need throughout the world as part of Samaritan’s Purse “Operation Christmas Child.”
This project is in conjunction with the Highland Calvary Church.

On Friday, November 29 from 12 - 3 p.m. head over to the Walkway Over the Hudson Historic State Park for the Holiday Kickoff Party with Santa.
