The Town of Plattekill has scheduled its Red, White and Blue Celebration for Saturday, July 8 at Thomas Felten Community Park in Modena.

Music will be provided by The Mustangs starting at 5:30 p.m. and will continue until the fireworks display that will follow. The rain date is July 9.

The Plattekill Music in the Park series will begin its seven-week run on July 11. The series will be held for seven consecutive Tuesdays, with each performance starting at 7 p.m.

The scheduled bands are: My Cousin Vinny (July 11), Sass & Brass (July 18), Cuboricua (July 26), Blue Mask Boys (August 1), Hillbilly Parade (August 8), Touch of Rhythm (August 15) and Angela Bruno (August 22).

Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets and their neighbors. Refreshments will be available.

The concerts will be held rain or shine.
