Otto Stenglein passed on November 21, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on March 30th, 1936, in New Windsor, making him 85 years old. Otto was the son of George and Anna Stenglein
Otto founded Otto's Garage and Body Shop in 1967, later retiring in 1998. He also proudly served in the National Guard for 10 years.
He is survived by his wife Ruth, son Ed (AKA Snooper) and wife Kim, grandchildren Conner and Morgen. His daughter Nancy, and grandchildren Jennifer and Travis.
Otto was a skilled craftsman who always took immense pride in his work, a loving husband of 59 years, and an incredibly involved grandparent. He loved to travel to Germany to visit family.
Calling hours will be held on: Saturday November 27 from 2-4 p.m. at the DiDonato Funeral Home, 1290 Route 9W, Marlboro to which family and friends are invited.
