The Town of Lloyd Historical Preservation Society (TOLHPS) is pleased to announce that its next program will be held Monday, January 16, 2023, featuring Franc Palaia who will talk about murals in the Hudson Valley. The program will be held in the theater at Vineyard Commons, 6142 Merlot Drive, Highland, at 7 p.m. Follow signs for the Leasing Office and Restaurant.

Franc Palaia is an award-winning multi-disciplinary artist and muralist who has exhibited at Vassar College, the Dorsky Museum and the Metropolitan Museum of Art among many others. He has painted over 22 indoor and outdoor murals in Poughkeepsie alone since 2001. His talk will include a five minute “Drone Mural Video” of his murals in Poughkeepsie.

This will also be the Historical Society’s annual meeting, at which members of the Board of Trustees will be elected.
