Lodge hosts breakfast for veterans, first responders

Last Saturday a free breakfast was hosted by the Lloyd Adonai Masonic Lodge #718 for all Veterans, Police, Firefighters and EMS personnel at their hall, located at 48 Main Street, Highland.

Member John Pasqualicchio said they posted notice of the breakfast in New Paltz, Highland and Marlborough.

“We typically do a toys for tots in December and we wanted to broaden it this year so we purchased a Play Station 5 and are going to raffle it off today,” he said. Pasqualicchio said they invited Boy Scouts from Troop 72 in Marlborough to help out.

“This is the first breakfast that we’ve done, the turnout was decent and we hope to make it an annual thing,” he said. “I’d like to thank the community for their support. Please keep an eye out for things that we’re doing as we’re trying to foster a more positive and active role in the community.”
