Legislator Hansut to host Neighborhood Office hours at Highland Library

Ulster County Legislator Gina Hansut is pleased to extend an open invitation to all residents of her district to attend the Neighborhood Office Hours event on Thursday, August 10, from 1 to 5 p.m. The event will be held at the Highland Public Library, located at 14 Elting Place, Highland.

During the Neighborhood Office Hours, constituents will have the opportunity to engage directly with Legislator Gina Hansut, who represents District 10, serving the towns of Lloyd and Marlborough. Hansut currently chairs the Law Enforcement and Public Safety Committee of the Ulster County Legislature.

Key services available during the event include:
Constituent Services: Get assistance and support with various county-related matters.

Veterans Services: Learn about the resources and benefits available to veterans.

Office of the Aging: Discover services and programs catering to the needs of senior citizens.

Voter Registration: Learn more about the voting process.

Absentee Information: Obtain essential details about absentee voting and related procedures.

Additionally, during the event, there will be a representative from the Ulster County Department of Mental Health available to provide one-on-one naloxone training. They will also distribute opioid prevention materials, including Educational Zines and DisposeRX med disposal packets, while sharing information about the variety of services offered by the Department.
