Frank Pignatelli, 74, of Highland passed away unexpectedly surrounded by his loving wife and children, on Sunday May 29, 2022 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.
Frank was born March 1, 1948, and raised in Brooklyn, New York where he met the love of his life Jeannette Yurack. He affectionately referred to her as his “forever love and queen” and they married on October 3, 1976. Together they moved to upstate New York to raise their family of 5 children, his pride and joy, and had loving and fulfilling marriage.
Frank’s joy in life were his family and friends. He held everyone in his life near and dear to his heart. Frank had a great sense of humor, a warm smile, and always a kind word or piece of needed advice. Frank liked to remain active and enjoyed doing projects around the house and for others. He donated his time and service to many charitable causes and organizations over his lifetime. His service and compassion for others did not end with his passing, as he donated his organs after death so others may have a second chance.
Frank was a firm believer in the Lord and is reunited in heaven with his parents, Frank and Angelina Pignatelli, his parents-in-law Paul and Helen Yurack and his grandson Tyler John Pignatelli.
Survivors include his loving and devoted wife of 45 years, Jeannette (Yurack) Pignatelli; his children, Joseph Pirrone and wife Nancy, John Pignatelli and wife Meghan, Kristen Bozenski and husband Mike, Jeanine Pignatelli, and Frank Pignatelli and wife Angela. Frank is also survived by his grandchildren Michelle, Michael and Christopher Pirrone; Jackson, Halia, and Hunter Pignatelli; Naomi and Owen Bozenski, Nicholas, Natalie, and Nathaniel Pignatelli.
