Eugene “Chip” R. Hamilton

Eugene “Chip” R. Hamilton, a lifelong resident of Newburgh, entered into rest on Thursday, December 26, 2019 at his residence. He was 75.

The son of the late Erven and Marion (Sinton) Hamilton, he was born on November 18, 1944 in Newburgh.

Chip as he was known to family and friends, worked for Frye Manufacturing Company in New Windsor, retiring as a machinist after many years of service. He proudly served his country in the Army National Guard of New York from 1967 to 1971.

The youngest of seven children he is survived by a sister Shirley Mushe of OH; a sister-in-law Audrey Valicenti and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his wife Dolores in 2018; two brothers, Erven and Richard; and three sisters, Lorraine, Thelma and Sally.

A private cremation has taken place at Cedar Hill Crematory. Following Chip’s wishes all funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Funeral arrangements are under the care of White, Venuto and Morrill Funeral and Cremation Service, Newburgh.
