Donna Horneman’s 2007 Saturn Sky Convertible

I met Donna at the Dutchess Cruiser’s first cruise night of the season on April 22. The cruise is located at Bridgeview Plaza in Highland.

Donna told me she was just driving by when she saw all the cool cars and decided to drop in. To her surprise, she spotted her exact car, color and all. She informed me that she has owned her car for approximately ten years and had purchased it at an auction. Her Saturn Sky sports a 2.4 litre Double Overhead Cam (DOHC) engine and a 5-speed transmission. It has 61,000 miles on the odometer and the color code is the rare Bluestone.

Donna’s favorite music to cruise with is music from the rock band, Collective Soul. Her best moment with her car was when she drove it for the first time. Her worst was when she hit a patch of water while driving which made the car fishtail but thankfully didn’t lose control. Donna’s first car was a 1969 Oldsmobile Cutlass. Her dream car is a 1969 Camaro Super Sport.
