Major General Ray Shields, the adjutant general for the state of New York, announces the recent promotion of members of the New York Army National Guard in recognition of their capability for additional responsibility and leadership.

Miguel Quintero from Newburgh, and assigned to the 719th Transportation Company, received a promotion March 11, 2024 to the rank of sergeant.
Iyana Iyota from New Windsor, and assigned to the Company C, 152nd Brigade Engineer Battalion, received a promotion March 21, 2024 to the rank of sergeant.
