City of Newburgh Police responded to a stabbing on South Street in area of Allison Ave on April 18 at approximately 2:30 p.m.

 Empress EMS transported one  subject to Montefiore-St Lukes Hospital-Cornwall Hospital. A second victim was also transported by  ambulance. South Street, in the vicinity of Newburgh Free Academy  was closed while uniform officers and detectives searched the scene. 

The Orange County Sheriffs Department assisted with traffic. City/Newburgh ID Unit was at scene along with DA  Investigators. 

The incident is under investigation.
