On March 18,  at approximately 9:42 P.M., Police responded to the area of Liberty St. and Carson Ave. for a ShotSpotter activation indicating that six rounds had been fired.

Shots fired on Liberty Street

On March 18,  at approximately 9:42 P.M., Police responded to the area of Liberty St. and Carson Ave. for a ShotSpotter activation indicating that six rounds had been fired.

Responding officers checked the area and located six shell casings in the intersection. Officers, along with K-9 Tate, located a firearm on Carson Ave. A second firearm was located nearby subsequent to the discovery of the first. Officers continued checking the area and also located a vehicle which had been struck by at least one round during the incident. At this time there are no known victims stemming from this incident.
