In the early hours of December 1, the Town of Newburgh Police commenced an investigation into a Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) rollover at the intersection of State Route 9W and Fostertown Road. Responding promptly to the incident were the Cronomer Valley and MiddleHope Fire Departments.

Emergency medical services were also on the scene, with Mobile Life ALS transporting one of the drivers to Montefiore-St Lukes Cornwall Hospital. The second driver received medical attention and was transported by Town ofNewburgh EMS. Details about the extent of injuries sustained remain undisclosed.

Firefighters took immediate action by spreading speedy dry on the roadway, addressing potential hazards, and ensuring the safety of both vehicles involved in the accident.

To manage traffic flow and assist in the investigation, Fire Police collaborated with State Troopers and the town police.
