The Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art at SUNY New Paltz announces “The Dorsky at 20: Reflections at a Milestone” an exhibition that will recount the history of the Dorsky Museum and celebrate its new strengths by featuring recent donations and promised gifts to the Museum’s permanent collection.
“We are celebrating 20 years by honoring and thanking the constellation of people that have been part of The Dorsky story and who will take the Museum into the future—from artists and students to donors and visitors,” said Anna Conlan, Neil C. Trager Director of The Dorsky.
“The Dorsky at 20: Reflections at a Milestone” will be on view from Sept. 11– Dec. 12, 2021, in The Dorsky’s Sara Bedrick Gallery. The exhibition is co-curated by Amy Fredrickson, exhibitions coordinator, and Wayne Lempka, art collections manager.
