Hello New Windsor. Congratulations to the men and woman of the New Windsor Fire Department!

New Windsor’s Bravest participated in the Hudson Valley Volunteer Firemen’s Association Parade this past Saturday in Wallkill and came home with the trophy for Best Overall in the Line of March.

New Windsor’s brave and talented first responders continue to make us all proud.

The Town of New Windsor Recreation Department is pleased to once again team up with Quickstrike FC, one of the country’s most successful soccer programs, to offer an exciting top notch coed Recreational Summer Soccer Program.

The professional coaches from Quickstrike FC, along with some of their high school players, will work together to provide and mentor our recreational soccer players with a dash of soccer fundamentals mixed in with a lot of fun drills and games. The program is broken down into three age groups which will allow the level of training and competition to be appropriately adjusted based on a participant’s age. This is an all new summer session for players that want to continue soccer in summer. The program will take place on Wednesday nights for four weeks starting on June 22 and going through July 13. The program is $40 for a New Windsor resident and $50 for non-New Windsor residents.

The Born to Strike program is Open for 2 – 4 year old children and meets from 5:15 to 6 p.m. The LittleStrikers program for ages 5 to 6 year-old children meets from 6:15 to 7:15 p.m., and the Quickstrikers program for 7 to 12 year-old children and meets from 6:15 to 7:15 p.m. (Quickstrikers get broken into two age groups 7-8 and 9-12 to play games) To register please visit nwrecisfun.com.

The Town of New Windsor Nancy Pullar Summer Concert Series will begin on Wednesday night June 29 at 7 to 8:30 p.m. on the New Windsor Town Hall Lawn with the band Lucky House opening up the series.
