Julia Negron, of New Windsor, entered into rest on July 3, 2021. She was 87.

Daughter of the late Domingo and Juana Rivera Negron, she was born on January 29, 1934  in Villalba, Puerto Rico.

Julia adored her family, and loved to dance and listen to music. A truly joyful sole, she lit up a room as soon as she walked in with her infectious smile. She will be missed by all who loved her.

Survivors include her nephew, Pastor Miguel A. (Carmen) Negron of the Town of Newburgh and their children, grandnieces Alexa (Pastor Manny) Montalvo of Wallkill and Jennifer (Anthony Cassase) Negron of New Windsor; her nephew Humberto (Nilsa) Negron of Pinebush their children, grandnephew, Humberto, Jr. and  grandniece, Yalitza (Tony) Rivera of Troy, NY; niece Jeanette (Walter) Veiga of Middletown, and their son, Walter Veiga, II, of Middletown PA; niece Mirta (Luis) Hernandez of Waterbury, CT; sister-in-law and best friend, Margarita Negron of New Windsor; along with many more nieces, nephew and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Luis and Angel Negron, and a sister; sister Virgenmina Santiago.

Services were held on Wednesday, July 6, at White, Venuto and Morrill Funeral and Cremation Service, Newburgh,  with her nephew, Pastor  Miguel Negron officiating. Burial was at Calvary Cemetery, New Windsor.
