Assemblymember Jonathan Jacobson (D-104) is sponsoring an in-person billing assistance meeting with Central Hudson where customers can get one-on-one help with a Central Hudson representative to resolve their billing issues. It will be held on October 26th from 4pm to 6pm at the Adriance Memorial Library at 93 Market Street in Poughkeepsie.
Jacobson said, “For nearly two years, my constituents have experienced every type of billing disaster, from excessive charges and wildly inaccurate estimated bills to late or missing bills and more. That’s why I am bringing Central Hudson representatives directly into the community, so customers can talk face-to-face with a real person and finally get solutions to their billing problems.
Jacobson hosted a similar event in Newburgh last month. “At the first event in Newburgh, most people had their problems resolved,” said Jacobson.
