Habitat For Humanity of Greater Newburgh will host Framing Frenzy on April 14 and 15 and their annual Walk For Housing on Sunday, April 23 in the City of Newburgh and welcomes all residents and supporters to take part in these community events.

The newly created Framing Frenzy event will see three Habitat Newburgh partners, Habitat’s Dutchess, Ulster and Rochester, support the community and Habitat volunteers in the construction of walls for Habitat properties along South St. Framing Frenzy will begin at eight in the morning and conclude at three in the afternoon. 200 volunteers are requested to take part in this community initiative.

The annual Walk for Housing will begin and end at Washington’s Headquarters on Liberty St with registration to begin at noon. The walk will begin at 1 p.m. and community members will have the opportunity to see completed homes and upcoming projects. Funds will also be collected during the event to support Habitat Newburgh and their efforts.
