District announces applications for potential board members

Newburgh Enlarged City School District District Clerk Mona Novotny announced to the board and public that packets for potential Board of Education candidates will be made available starting on Friday, February 24 during the Board of Education’s regular meeting on Tuesday, February 14.

According to Novotny, potential candidates will need 100 signatures of qualified voters in the district and those packets must be returned to the District Clerk’s office by April 26 at 5 p.m. The Board of Education will have three seats up for re-election which include members Mark Levinstein, William Walker and current Board of Education President Carole Mineo.
