Damon B. Taylor, Jr., of the Town of Newburgh, entered into rest on Thursday, April 18. 2024. He was 75.
Son of the late Damon B. and Mildred (Mathewson) Taylor, Sr., he was born September 24, 1948 in Wilmington, DE.
A longtime area resident he was a retired Correction Officer, for the NYS Department of Correction at Downstate Correctional Facility. He was a member of the NRA, an animal lover and enjoyed gardening, music and movies.
Survivors include a brother, A. David (Janice) Taylor of the Town of Newburgh; and a niece, Dana Cabrera of Brooklyn.
In addition to his parent he was predeceased by a sister, Sandra L. Cabrera.
