NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON INTRODUCTORY LOCAL LAW NO. 2 OF 2024

ENACTING A NEW ARTICLE VIII OF CHAPTER 179 ("TAXATION") ENTITLED

FIREFIGHTERS AND AMBULANCE WORKERS" PURSUANT TO

SECTION 466a OF THE REAL PROPERTY TAX LAW

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on Monday, the 25th day of March, 2024, at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, a Public Hearing will be held before the Board of Trustees of the Village of Maybrook, New York, at Village Hall, located at 111 Schipps Lane, Maybrook, New York, to consider Introductory Local Law No. 2 of 2024. The purpose of this Introductory Local Law is to amend Chapter 179 ("Taxation") of the Code of the Village of Maybrook to provide for a tax exemption for certain volunteer firefighters and ambulance workers residing in the Village of Maybrook in accordance with Real Property Tax Law
