Marlborough DPW Garage Renovations

General Notice

Town of Marlborough (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:

Marlborough DPW Garage Renovations

Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Office of the Town Clerk Town Hall located at 21 Milton Turnpike, Suite 200, Milton, NY 12547, until Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at 11:30 am local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.

The Project includes the following Work:

The Town of Marlborough is looking to renovate and construct new additions on the existing DPW Garage located at 1650 Route 9W, Milton, NY 12547. The renovations will include updates to the existing building fato emulate the appearance of the Town of Marlborough Community Center and upgrades to the interior including the addition of new ADA compliant restrooms and new mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems. The additions will consist of a new garage space and a new office space.

Separate Bids will be received for the following Contracts:

The Project has a final completion date of October 30, 2024.

Obtaining the Bidding Documents

Information and Bidding Documents for the Project can be found at the following designated website:

Bidding Documents are to be downloaded from the designated website. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project.

Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office after Wednesday, April 17, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below.

Bidding Documents may be purchased, in person, from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above. Make checks for Bidding Documents payable to Town of Marlborough. Upon Issuing Office's receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents can be picked up by the prospective bidder's representative. Bidding Documents are available for purchase in the following formats:

All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website or Issuing Office. Bidders must be registered on either the designated website or with the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office or designated website.

Pre-bid Conference

Mandatory pre-bid conferences for the Project will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at 10:00 am and Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at 10:00 am at the Town of Marlborough DPW Garage, 1650 Route 9W, Milton, NY 12547. Bids will not be accepted from Bidders that do not attend one of the mandatory pre-bid conferences.
