Sixty years. Where did the time go? In June, 1963, I graduated from Valley Central High School along with a hundred or more of my closest friends. This past weekend, Labor Day weekend, I made a four day trip from the Chattanooga area to the Middletown/Saugerties area of upstate New York. I drove 844 miles on Friday, and 900 miles on Monday, with a few miles in between to attend the VCHS 60 year reunion, plus to do a fast visit with family.
Special thanks to Ed Pimm, Joan Buck Smith, Barbara VanDyke Ibberson and many others for bringing this event to life. It takes a lot of work to make sure all the arrangements come together and on time. Especially well received was the Memorial Table, honoring those of our class who are deceased.
I am sure I can speak for the 40 classmates and guests who were in attendance when I say Thank You and Well Done.
