Vote for Kristen Brown on June 27

From the moment I met Kristen Brown, I knew that I was talking to the next generation of leadership in the Town of Montgomery. With one foot firmly planted (pun intended!) in working her fifth generation farm in Montgomery, and the second foot forward planning for the future, Kristen is truly the epitome of someone we all need to keep on our team. As a farmer and small business owner, the skills, work ethic and knowledge Kristen possesses brings a skill set to our council table that is unmatched. From sun-up to past sun-down this woman doesn’t stop moving. She is a mother to Bailey (age 8) and John (age 4), a wife to Leonard Brown, our elected official in the Town of Montgomery, a farmer and co-owner of The Historic Brown Family Farm, a friend to all, and an award winning barrel racer with her horse Rebel (really, she’s a legitimate cowgirl).

Kristen is a trusted colleague in our Town Hall and is the hardest working member of our Town board. She is both an advisor to those who seek to learn and a student to mentors that provide guidance and history. Kristen was appointed by the town supervisor to lead the budget process for our largest departments, highway and police. She is also the appointed liaison to the Town of Montgomery Ambulance, where she ensures that we have safe and reliable emergency medical services in our town. When someone needs a job done, and done right, they call Kristen. And when we need someone to represent us, and represent us ethically and intelligently, we vote for Kristen.

Kristen is up for re-election this year and we should all be in support of her serving a second term. She will be in the Republican Primary on Tuesday, June 27. Kristen is one of three candidates running for two seats. The best way to ensure she stays in office, is to vote for her alone. Your single vote will make all the difference.

Note - There are only three polling locations in the Town for this election (Montgomery Senior Center, Maybrook Senior Center, and Walden Fire House). To look up your voting location visit vic.ntsdata.com/home/orange.
