People keep getting “URGENT NOTICE” letters saying that their car warranty expired, or it is about to expire. You are given a phone number to call. Nowhere on the letter is the name and/or address of the company given. Since I already have an extended warranty, I knew not to call. Why are these misleading letters being permitted? I have written to my state and federal legislators, and I urge you to do the same.
