Supporting Randi Picarello

I do my best to follow local, state, and national politics and at this point the chaos and divisions are blatantly obvious to all. I believe the direction forward involves supporting and encouraging our younger talented candidates if we want to maintain vibrant responsive contemporary communities. Currently men dominate our governments and it makes sense in the interest of fairness to increase the representation of women in those roles.

Candidates need reservoirs of energy along with dedication and a multitude of various skills to be successful in this climate. I have been observing what Randi Picarello has done these past years coordinating the downtown businesses in the Village of Montgomery, facilitating the BCGM for the Town of Montgomery, and this past year as an elected Montgomery Village Trustee. She exemplifies responsible outreach and connection with the public while constantly seeking information on behalf of the village residents.

She is a pro at multitasking, researching facts, and has brought tangible results to the table. She meets quickly with residents when there is a concern. She has already prioritized and focused on grant opportunities, youth participation, mentorships, getting village records caught up with modern technology, producing a helpful monthly newsletter and she comes prepared to board meetings thoughtfully participating with helpful comments and questions.

She has consistently demonstrated how a trustee fully serves with intelligent dedication. I believe she is an excellent choice for mayor in the Village of Montgomery.
