Sheldon K. Roebuck of Wauchula, Florida, formerly of Walden, NY, passed away February 3, 2022, peacefully at home with his family. He was 89 years old. Sheldon was born May 28, 1932, in Walden, NY, son of Lucille (Dunn) & John A. Roebuck, Sr. He proudly served our country in the United States Army, becoming a truck driver after his honorable discharge. Sheldon, with his family, moved to Willsboro, NY to pursue his love of farming. He enjoyed woodworking which led him to open “Spare Time Wood Furniture”, creating Adirondack style chairs & gliders. He enjoyed gardening & collecting miniature trucks.

Sheldon was a Catholic by faith, attending St. Michael’s Catholic Church. He is survived by his loving wife Donna (Cardone) Roebuck of Wauchula, FL, son, Shawn Roebuck, Plattsburgh, NY, daughter, Lori Roebuck (Chris Ahrent), Willsboro, NY, sister, Elizabeth Cocks, Walden, NY, Grandchildren, Alysia and Heather Ahrent. Sheldon is survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. We would be remiss if we did not mention his beloved cat, LILLY!

Sheldon is preceded in death by his parents, brother, John E., sisters, Helen Kearney, Catherine Cossa and Delores O’Banks.

A memorial service was held at Little Charlie Creek Club House on February 8, 2022. Interment of ashes will be private.

In lieu of flowers the family would like memorial donations to be made to Scleroderma Research Foundation or memorial of choice.
