Shawangunk Historical Society presents a show and tell
On Wednesday, November 6, the Historical Society of Shawangunk and Gardiner presents a show and tell for their monthly meeting at 5 Main Street in Wallkill. The program begins at 7 p.m.
Members will bring historical items and talk about them. Among them:
Freda will bring woodworking items made by her grandfather in England, among them a table desk and cribbage board.

Karen will provide a hand-powered vacuum cleaner.
Hal will present the DuBois family tree.
Libby will show a hat mould from her father’s hat shop in Connecticut.
Light refreshments will follow the presentations.

Shawangunk Democrats to meet
The Town of Shawangunk Democrats will meet in the Walker Valley School House ( 6 Marl Road) on Saturday, November 9.
They will review the elections and talk about plans for next year. We will meet from 4-5:30 p.m. refreshments will be served.
