A local resident, Tim Distel, who had been working in the Ukraine, has returned to enlist aid of local residents. On Saturday, May 7, the Shawangunk Democratic Committee will be collecting medical supplies for Ukraine to show our support.
The following is a list generated by the Ukrainian American Youth Association of the Hudson Valley:
• First Aid Kits of any size
• Pain relievers - Ibuprofen or Acetaminophen or both
• Safety pins
• Triple Antibiotic Ointment (full size)
• Adhesive bandages in several sizes
• Pepto-Bismol pills
• Antibacterial ointment
• Aspirin or Bayer
• Dishenhydramine/Benadryl
• Elastic wrap/ ACE bandages, standard 4” by 5 yards
• Hydrocortisone cream (1%)
• Loperamide/Imodium
