Maria Beltrameti, previously the proprietor of Recycled Style is now fulfilling her dream of living in France. What a perfect place for the “fashionista” Maria and her little dog Maime. Her building on Ward Street was not vacant for long as there is now a new business coming, Rabbit Hole Antiques.

Many of us receive gifts for the holidays that we are unable to return. Instead of taking up room in the closet, smart consumers bring them to consignment shops. So this is a perfect time of year to shop consignment shops for new items. We have a new shop here in Montgomery, Reanna’s Second Hand Boutique at 2 Union Street. Stop by and see Felicia.

Congratulations to all the Montgomery residents who were filled with the holiday spirit and decorated. We cruised up and down the streets and I know this is late but I have to give a shout out to the residents of Purple Heart Way, Conroy Avenue and Haskin Court. Around the corner the house at 262 Goodwill Road is beautiful day and night. What recently was one of the spookiest Halloween houses at 2 Bridge Street became an elegant tasteful holiday display right out of a magazine. Hope you all had the opportunity to check them out.

The Village of Montgomery Christmas Tree Pickup runs through January 30. Trees are to be placed curbside by 7 a.m. with no tinsel/garland or ornaments.
