Grace White, the Chairwoman of the Orange County Conservative Party announced that at a meeting of the County Executive Committee former President Donald Trump was endorsed for re-election as President. The motion was made by Party Vice Chairman Steve Nunziato, and seconded by former Chairman John DeLessio.

Chairwoman White called the former President “a dependable voice for America in a world of growing chaos.”

“President Trump’s strength as our country’s leader kept the United States, and particularly our borders secure. Now we are confronted with leaders on a national and state level who are allowing the United States to be overrun by illegal migrants, our international standing to be marginalized, and our military to be demoralized.” White continued.

As the Times went to press on Tuesday, the former president was running in the New Hampshire Republican Primary against former New Hampshire Governor Nikki Haley. A third candidate for the Republican nomination – Florida Governor Ron DeSantis – had just withdrawn from the race.
