My vote is for the True Republicans

It’s election time in the Town of Montgomery and again I’m hearing plenty about a candidate working her fifth generation farm, which brings one question to my mind. What generation was it from approximately 1972 to 2011? In 1972 the late John Wiest farmed the Brown family farm until his untimely passing, at which time his son James took over the Wiest operation and farmed the Brown Farm until approximately 2011. Back when I went to school that comes to about 40 years, or two generations.

When I go to vote I want to vote for a candidate that represents my values and the values of the Republican party. I’m doubtful that a candidate who was a Democrat only 6 months ago can truly represent my values. When I cast my vote, I’m voting for the true Republicans Cindy Voss and Mark Hoyt. Cindy and Mark have proven they work well together in the seven years they served together on the town board. I’m confident that will serve our town just as well, if not better, as we move forward. Cindy has an expertise in business and years of town government knowledge. Pair that with Mark Hoyt’s excellent reputation as a farmer of hay, corn and dairy replacement cattle along with his years of town knowledge and his insight of our town budget. Even while not in office Mark volunteered his own time and expertise to help balance the town’s budget last year. That dedication to our town speaks volumes. Both Cindy and Mark are lifelong Republicans and will represent our town with unity by running as a team and not just asking for one vote and dividing our town leaders. We have all seen some division in our last couple of elections. It’s time to come together as true Republicans and vote both Cindy Voss and Mark Hoyt on primary day June 27, and keep our town on the right path to November.
