Michael Patrick Horan of Montgomery, NY passed away at home on February 13, 2022. He was 66.
The son of Michael and Eileen O’Neill Horan, he was born on November 14, 1955 in Bronx, NY. He was honorably discharged from the Marines serving during the Viet Nam War. He was employed as an attorney and provided legal services for the Paralyzed Veterans of America Assoc., Washington, D.C.
Michael is survived by his sister, Eileen Steed and her husband, Tommy of Montgomery; nieces and nephews: Colleen Steed and her husband, Michael
Sherman, Michael Steed and his fiancé, Maria Millus, Kerry Moscato and her husband, Dr. Vincent Moscato, T.J. Steed and his girlfriend, Kaleen Hammond, and Rory Horan and his wife, Maria. He was predeceased by his brother, Jerry Horan.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, February 18th at Holy Name of Mary Church, Montgomery, NY. Burial of ashes was in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties, 800 Stony Brook Ct. Newburgh, NY 12550.
