Marybeth Turner of Wurtsboro passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2023, in Monticello, NY. She was 55.
She was the daughter of Rodney “Bub” and Ann Kaufmann. She was born on May 14, 1968 in Middletown, and grew up in Montgomery.
Marybeth spent many years working at her families business, Kaufmann’s service center in Montgomery. And then spent a few years cleaning for the Town of Montgomery.
She is predeceased by her parents, her husband Frank J. Turner and her brother Gregory Kaufmann.
She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Kayla and Michael Hoffman, her brother Brian Kaufmann and wife Robin, sister Susan Wilson and husband Paul, brother Bradley Kaufmann and wife Ruth and sister Karen DuBois and husband Tod. She is also survived by many extended family members including step children and their spouses, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She was a loving and devoted mother, and a great friend to many.
Visitation will be Sunday, January 14, 2024, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m .at Overhiser Funeral Home, 78 Union St., Montgomery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to any local animal shelter or rescue.
