Marianne P. Borsare of Thompson Ridge New York, a retired Computer Teaching Assistant at Pine Bush Elementary School and 30 year resident of the area died on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 peacefully at home.  The cherished daughter of the late Edward W. Scott and Anne M. Scott, she was born on June 14, 1960 in Brooklyn New York. Marianne is the beloved wife of Thomas J. Borsare and the doting mother of daughter Nora M. Borsare.

Marianne was an exceptional woman. She was a great friend to everyone she met and devoted her life to helping everyone around her. In addition to her kindness she was also an extremely talented woman. She was an exceptional quilter, gardener, baker, decorator, and  all around true life Wonder Woman. She will be missed dearly and her memory will live on with all her friends and family's stories of her.

Marianne is survived by her husband, Thomas and daughter Nora. She is also survived by her sisters: Ellen Scott and Frances Scott; In-laws: Barbara Borsare, Margaret and Guy Rossiello, James Borsare, Maureen and Steve Viani, Richard Borsare; Nieces and Nephews: Eileen, George, Christine, Bob, Robin, James, Jacqueline, Tim, John, Magda, Beth, Brian, Cindy, Caitlin, Mike, Kevin, Kimberly, Jillian, Meagan; as well as great nieces and nephews: Sophia, Ava, Vincent, Kayleen, Thomas, Brayden, Ashlyn, Amelia, Scarlett, Fifi, Romeo, Faviola, Leo, Francesca, and Julian. 

Visitation will be held on Saturday February 24, from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m .at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham Rd. Pine Bush.  Funeral Services will be offered  at 2pm with Fr. Niranjan Rodrigo officiating. Burial will take place in New Prospect Cemetery.
