Lorraine E. Kalafut of Montgomery, passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021, at her home in Montgomery surrounded by family. She was 92.
The daughter of the late John Walsh and Edna Sonnick Walsh, she was born February 24, 1929 in Bronx, NY.
Lorraine was a loving mother and Grandmother. A devout Catholic, she was very active in Holy Name of Mary Church, Montgomery.
She was the widow of George Kalafut.
Survivors include her daughters Barbara A. Kalafut and husband Bob and Susan Kalafut; sons George Kalafut and wife Christine and Mark Kalafut; six Grandchildren: Paul (Amanda), Jamie, Nikki, Brian, Adriana, Connor; two Great Grandchildren: Oliver and Rowan; two brothers Frank Walsh and wife Bernadette and Howard Walsh; one sister, Carole Enright.
Along with her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her sister Joan Braner and brother Richard Walsh.
A Mass of Christian burial will take place on January 15th,2022 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Name of Mary Church in Montgomery Cremation and burial will take place privately.
