Linda Louise Squillante

It is with great sorrow that the family of Linda Louise Squillante announce her sudden passing.  She succumbed to a long illness at her home in Walden on April 27, 2022.  

She leaves behind her loving husband of 52 years Charles Squillante Sr., her loving sons Charles Squillante Jr and his wife Brett of Wallkill, NY, Anthony Squillante and his wife Tricia of Grayson, GA, and her loving daughter Donna (Squillante) Daley and her husband Michael of Wallkill, NY.  Linda adored doting on her grandchildren Alexandra, Charles III, and Isabella Squillante and Michael Jr, Anthony, and Vincenzo Daley.    

She was born July 5, 1947 in Monsey, NY to Florence (Starr) and Thure Grahn, the third of eight children.  Linda was predeceased by her parents and her sister Shirley Adams and her brother Arthur Grahn and is survived by her sisters Linea Bloom and her husband Robert of Clearfield PA and Karen Naugle and her husband Gary of Lahome, OK.  Her brothers Eric Grahn of Scottdale, AZ, Edwin Grahn of Highland Mills, NY and Keith Grahn of CA.  With such a loving and large family, she has many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

After meeting her husband, she devoted her life to raising and adoring her children and grandchildren.  She would drop everything to help anyone who asked and never thought twice about it.  Family gatherings and parties brought her great joy as she loved having family together.  Linda also had a passion for fashion, traveling, cooking, baking, sewing and gardening her famous yellow roses that once lined Bruyn Turnpike in Wallkill.  

Services will be held at Millspaugh Funeral Home in Walden, on Sunday May 1.  Visitations will be 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and a Catholic Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday morning May 2, at Most Precious Blood Church in Walden.
