Leonard J. Marino, a longtime resident of the area, passed away unexpectedly at his  home on Saturday December 11, 2021. He was 62. 

The son of Leonard Marino and Liberata Ramundo Marino, he was born on March 14, 1959 in Suffern, NY. He was a hardworking, dedicated family man. Loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, uncle and friend.

Survivors include his loving wife of 42 years, Linda, son Mark, daughter Jenny, and granddaughter Ashleigh at home. Daughters Lauren and her partner Rob Gove of Rockland, Cathy and her partner Tom Jagusch of Middletown. He leaves behind four grandchildren, Ashleigh, Matthew, Gemma, and Thomas Leonard. The apples of his eye.  In addition he is survived by three sisters. Mary Cornish of Parksville, Julie Marino of Bloomingburg, and Lisa Marino of Florida. Lenny was predeceased by his sons Michael, and Matthew, his sister Joanne, nephew Doug Peterson, and his parents. He was a loving son-in-law to Walter and Catherine Kierzowski, a stand up brother-in-law to Donna Matland, and will be especially missed by her gang of boys. Also surviving are Daniel Molzahn, Bert Molzahn, Lisa Mongelli, Renee Kierzowski, and numerous nieces and nephews. And, last but not least, “ man’s best friend” Willie.

Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, December 15 at the William M. Gagan  Funeral Home Inc 1525 Burlingham Rd., Pine Bush. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered at 10 a.m. on Thursday December 16 at Our Lady of Assumption Church in Bloomingburg.  Burial will take place in Bloomingburg Cemetery immediately following.
