She has a background in accounting, but Shivon Chamorro says she found her true calling in flowers.

“Whenever there was an event or a party, I would bring flowers that I had made; it became my passion,” Chamorro says, “I went to school in New York City and studied what I was interested in, flowers. I’ve been a certified florist for 15 years.”

She opened her first floristry in New York City. The Covid pandemic, however, would force a change of plans, shutting down the operation. The family would leave the city in favor of the comfort of upstate New York. Chamorro opened her second shop in Washingtonville.

“We started to grow as a business, and we outgrew the location,” she says. “I wanted to pick a location that needed a florist, I am a very community person, and I like to be involved in everything.”

The doors for Lè Vonne Inspirations Florist opened on South Montgomery Street in Walden in November. Chamorro would like to share a special moment with the community and is hoping to host a ribbon ceremony with food and entertainment to mark the official opening of her new location.

Chamorro’s desire to start her own business stemmed off from her gregarious nature and passion of interacting with new people. She specializes in creating unique floral arrangements for her clients, which sets her apart from other florists. When getting flowers, each order is unique for a purpose: “We don’t create the same flowers, we want to make it special and one of a kind for that one person.”

The new florist specializes in making your flowers one-of-a-kind. There will always be exotic orchids and different colors of flowers, as well as types of flowers that are not easily accessible; Chamorro’s motto is “No matter what your budget is, if you come in here and can only buy one flower, I want that one floor to be the best one flower that you can get.”

There are several types of flowers, and basic flowers are always available throughout business hours; all flowers are fresh. During wedding season, they are overloaded with orders, but the store is always open and there are flowers for sale anytime during business hours.
