Joan I. Fogg, of Montgomery, entered into rest on Sunday, April 7, 2024. She was 85.

Daughter of the late Earl and Ruth (Homan) Rampe, she was born April 25, 1938 in East Hampton.

A long time area resident, Joan was a homemaker, working after her children were grown as a Regional District Manager for Hickory Farms.  She loved cooking and was generous with her time as a volunteer at various soup kitchens and cooking dinners for the veterans at her church, The Maybrook Methodist Church where she was a member. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, traveling and camping in the Adirondack’s, especially with her grandchildren.

Survivors include three sons, Harold W. (Keri) Fogg, Jr., of Tampa, FL, James M. (Mary) Fogg of Balston Spa, NY and Craig D. (Nancy) Fogg of Cumming, GA; a sister, Anita Harley, of Aiken, SC; a sister in law, Maryann Fogg of the Town of Newburgh; nine grandchildren, Bradley, Ashley, Maggie, Patrick, Katie, Brenden, Taylor, Sarah and Brian; three great grandchildren, Ellie, Brooks and Caroline; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Harold W. Fogg in 2022; a brother, Earl Rampe, Jr.; and a sister, Shirley Burger.

Private cremation has taken place at Cedar Hill Crematory.

A Memorial Service was held Saturday, April 13, at the Maybrook United Methodist Church, Maybrook.
