The solution to the horrific war in Israel and Gaza is simple; Hamas should surrender. On October 7, 2023 Hamas attacked Israel in one of the most vicious acts of violence in history. They murdered 1,300 innocent people; children, women, men; they burned babies to death, cut off their heads and videoed it. Hamas started this war and Israel, justifiably, has responded in kind. As the reality of war plays out, the enemies of Israel are demanding a cease fire. The thing is this war will only end with total destruction of Hamas by Israel or the surrender of Hamas.

Surrender by Hamas would require the destruction of all weapons, military infra-structure and every fighter and leader of the terrorist organization turning themselves over to the Israelis for judgment. The war in Gaza was started by Hamas, not Israel. To end the war, violence, death and destruction facing the Palestinian people in Gaza requires the destruction of Hamas or its surrender; it’s that simple.

Western nations need to understand this point. The justification for Israel’s action is 1300 citizens murdered by Hamas on October 7, 2023. If the 330 million citizens of the USA, which is over 35 times the 9.5 million people in Israel, were attacked on this scale, there would be over 45,000 dead. For reference, the attacks of 9/11/2001 killed 2,977 people.

The hypocrisy of China, Russia and the UN are insulting. An attack on this scale and violence would justify total war by any nation in the UN. The fact that Iran supported, financed and participated in planning this attack makes them equally guilty of the wanton murder, rape and violence of Hamas.

Hamas kidnapped 240 hostages to use as human shields to protect their military infrastructure and leadership. The reality is Hamas is holding 2.4 million hostages, which is the total of the Palestinian population in Gaza. No one wants the death and destruction this war will bring to the people in Gaza except Hamas, which does not care about any of them. The reality is every Palestinian who dies in this war is a victim of Hamas as much as the 1300 people murdered in the 10/7/23 attacks. It is Hamas who will kill every one of them; the destruction and blood of this war is on the hands of Hamas.

If the world wants the war to end, the solution is for Hamas’s military and civil leadership to surrender to Israel and face judgment for their actions. If they do not surrender, the war will go on until Hamas is destroyed. It is that simple.
