 Eileen Ann Mishk of Walden, a longtime resident of the area, passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2021, in Walden after a courageous battle with cancer.  She was 61. 

The daughter of the late William Brown and Eileen McDermott Brown, she was born April 26, 1960 in Yonkers, NY.

Eileen was a parishioner of Most Precious Blood, Walden and a member of the Walden Sunshine Society. She was an avid traveler & cruiser, and had a special love of animals. Eileen was a Registered Nurse who started her career in 1983 working at Horton Hospital in Middletown and ended her career as the Administrator and Director of Training for WillCare, Middletown, NY.

Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Jerry at home; daughter Jennifer Kurisko and husband Jared of Walden; daughter Kimberly Peel and husband John of Walden; Grandchildren Adriana, Anthony and Alexandra; brother Kevin Brown and Bente of Montgomery; brother William Brown & Debi of Beacon; numerous nieces and nephews and beloved gog shadow and cat gracie

Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers David Hartney and John Hartney.

Visitation will be Monday, November 1, from 5-8 p.m .at Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank St., Walden 

A Mass of Christian burial will be Tuesday November 2,at 10:30 a.m. at Most Precious Blood Church, 42 Walnut St., Walden.

Burial will be in Wallkill Valley Cemetery in Walden, NY.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan, 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh, NY 12550.
