Diane J. Cardinale of Montgomery, passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2022, in Montgomery. She was 70.
The daughter of the late Joseph A. Cardinale Jr. and Jean M. Fino Cardinale, she was born November 22, 1951 in Brooklyn.
Diane served as a deputy sheriff in Orange County and a police officer for the Town of Wallkill Police Department. She had a great love of horses and was a member of the Trotter’s Racing Association.
Survivors include her brother Joseph Cardinale; sister Veronica “Ronnie” Cardinale; nieces and nephews Nicolina Mullins (Brian), Michael Curatello, Danielle Durando (Brian), Anthony Curatello (Eileen Montalvo), Dana Jean Cardinale; great nephew Brian James; sister-in-law Alice Cardinale; all her beloved animals
She was predeceased by her parents.
A Funeral Mass was held Monday, February 28, at Holy Name of Mary Church, , Montgomery. Cremation will take place privately.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Equine Rescue Resource, P.O. Box 17, Pine Bush.
