Welcome back to our monthly community column! As always, we’re here to keep you informed about all the happenings in Pine Bush and surrounding areas. Before we dive into the news, a gentle reminder that this column runs every third Thursday of the month, so mark your calendars!
 
Happy Easter!
Easter is around the corner, and Pine Bush is bustling with festive activities for everyone to enjoy:
 
• Easter Flower Sale: The Pine Bush Hook & Ladder Ladies Auxiliary will host their Easter Flower Sale on March 29 and 30 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the firehouse on Route 52. Expect a wide selection of flowers to brighten your Easter celebrations, along with an Easter Raffle.
 
• Pancake Breakfast: Don’t miss out on the Pine Bush Hook & Ladder Co.’s Pancake Breakfast on April 7, from 7 a.m. to 12 noon at the firehouse. It’s a delicious way to start your Sunday!
 
• Town of Crawford Easter Egg Hunt: Join the Town of Crawford Police, Town of Crawford PBA, and the Pine Bush High School Interact Club for the Easter Egg Hunt on March 23 at 10 a.m., happening at the Pine Bush High School Football Field. Note the rain date of March 24. There’s a $5 entry fee per child, including various activities and a chance to win prizes, so hop on over with your little ones!
 
Upcoming Events:
• Board of Education Meetings: The next Board of Education meetings are scheduled for April 2 at Pine Bush High School and April 18 at Circleville Middle School, both at 7 p.m.
 
• School Spring Recess: Pine Bush School District will be closed from March 22 to April 1 for Spring Recess, reopening on April 2.
 
• American Legion Post 1308 Meetings: American Legion Post 1308 invites all veterans to their meetings on the first Thursday at 1 p.m. and the second Thursday at 7 p.m. each month. Join for camaraderie and support. Building rental is also available.
 
Library News:
• Programs at the Library: The library has exciting programs lined up, including Financial Literacy on March 20, a Solar Eclipse discussion on April 8, Estate Planning on April 10, and a Safety Driving Class on April 20. There’s something for everyone, so be sure to reserve your spot!
 
Before we wrap up, let’s take a moment to celebrate some special birthdays in our community:
 
Happy Birthday to Marie Nye who celebrates on March 21, Vikki Robbiano and Louise Miller who both celebrate on March 27. Warmest wishes also go out to Wilma Sturm on March 30, Diane Siegman and Brian Garvilla on March 31.
 
Looking ahead, we extend heartfelt greetings to Frank Lehmann on April 6, Harold Smith on April 14, and Binker DeWitt on April 15. May each of you have a fantastic birthday filled with joy and wonderful memories!
