Brown needs your sole vote

Town of Montgomery Councilwoman Kristen Brown is in the June 27 GOP primary race. She with two other candidates are vying for two open seats on the town board. I have watched the councilwoman for some time now at board meetings. She makes it a point to do her due diligence to gain the knowledge necessary to properly address the issues that come before the board. She always asks the pertinent questions directed to applicants who have projects before the board. The councilwoman rightly gives weight to those municipal matters that will best serve the interests of town residents. When it comes to expenditures she evaluates them with a cost-effective lens to meet the objective of fiscal responsibility.

For me Councilwoman Brown meets the four criteria that pass the qualifications litmus test to serve as a public official: she is conscientious, compassionate, committed and competent. Unquestionably she is a substantial asset to our township. We need her voice on the board. She gives true meaning to the word ‘public’ in public servant.

I urge my Republican friends to vote for Councilwoman Brown and vote for her alone. If you split your vote, it will nullify your vote for Kristen. The sole vote for her will increase her chances of victory in the primary. Your vote for Kristen will not disappoint.
