Barbara Vargas, wife of the late Raul Vargas, passed away on January 25th, 2022 at Garnet Health Medical Center. She was 54.
The daughter of Jose Antonio Lebron Alicea, and Carmen Antonia Aviles Alicea she was born on May 7, 1967 in Bronx.
Barbara was a homemaker who enjoyed spending quality time with family especially her two grandsons. Her words were “As long as I see the people I love happy, I am happy”. She was a loving and caring Daughter, Sister, Mother, and devoted Grandmother, always having a pure heart of gold and beautiful smile that will never be forgotten. She will always be remembered as kind, generous and a good hearted person who always lent a helping hand when needed with no hesitation.
Barbara will be lovingly remembered by her children: Son Manuel Vargas of Middletown, Daughter Vanessa Vargas of Middletown 2 Grandsons, Leo and Lorenzo Vargas. She will also be remembered by her daughter-in-law, Aida Maisonet of Middletown NY, Brother, Jose Alicea of Bronx NY, Sister, Milagros Lopez of Bronx NY, and by 11 Nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday January 30, from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham Rd Pine Bush NY. Funeral services will be offered on Monday January 31, at 11am at the funeral home.
Burial will take place next to her beloved husband Raul in Wallkill Cemetery located at 160 Midway Rd in Middletown.
