Notice of Completion of Tentative Assessment Roll
Pursuant to Section 506 and 526 of the RPTL
Grievance Day Set for May 28, 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Assessor of the City of Newburgh, County of Orange, has completed the Tentative Assessment Roll for the current year and that a copy of the Tentative Assessment Roll will be left with the Assessor's Office, 1 st floor City Hall, 83 Broadway, Newburgh, NY. The Tentative Assessment Roll will also be published online at the City of Newburgh's web site www.cityofnewburgh-ny.gov
The Assessment Roll may be examined by any interested person Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. 4:00 p.m. The Assessor will also be available by appointment only on Saturday, May 11 from 9:00 a.m.11:00 a.m. and Wednesday, May 15 from 4:00 p.m. 6:00 p.m.
The Board of Assessment Review will meet by appointment on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at the Activity Center, 401 Washington Street, Newburgh, NY, to hear and examine all complaints in relation to assessments on the written application of any person believing themselves to be aggrieved. Application forms (RP524) to file a grievance are available at the office of the City Assessor or online at the City website or www.tax.ny.gov
