O’Reilly Auto plans for Newburgh Mall proceeding

Posted

The Town of Newburgh Planning Board granted architectural review board (ARB) and signage approval for the O’Reilly Auto Parts storefront at the Newburgh Mall at its meeting Thursday, March 7.

Jim Campbell of the Code Compliance Office stated that changes have been made to plans but remains in compliance. Planning Board Attorney Dominic Cordisco stated the project would be classified as an amended ARB approval. Conditions in the previously adopted resolution would still need to be met.

O’Reilly Auto Parts was announced as a future tenant for the mall in December 2023 and would take over half of the former Sears department store location that closed in October 2022.
