Newburgh City Council approved on Monday, March 25 for the City Manager, the Police Commissioner or Police Chief, as Manager’s designee, to execute an inter-municipal agreement with Orange County confirming the City of Newburgh’s participation in the Stop DWI Program. The enforcement period for this particular program would be from March 10, 2024 to January 1, 2025. The city would also accept, if awarded, an amount not to exceed $3,394 for the first enforcement period of 2024 which would be from March 10 to June 1.
