Coldenham Firefighters were dispatched to a three vehicle serious accident with possible entrapment on International Blvd/Exit 5A on Sept 6. Command requested Medivac to scene. Firefighters were using jaws of life on one vehicle to free subject. Vails Gate was sounded to set up LZ on International Blvd with eta for Medivac ten minutes. Multi EMS were brought to scene and International Blvd was shut down. Medivac landed on International Blvd the subject was removed from vehicle and airlifted to Westchester County Medical Center. New York State Police were assisted at scene by Town of Montgomery and Town of Newburgh Police. Deputy Fire Coordinator 36-13 was also at the scene.
